Game For Elapsed Time 6th Grade. This is an elapsed time game, where kids will learn how to calculate the time spent on a given activity. The game is similar to elapsed time worksheets math activities for 6th grade. This game is a fun activity that can be played by 6th graders to become a math time estimation guru. Elapsed time is the time difference between the beginning time and ending time. The concept to find the elapsed time is easy to understand for those who can read the time clock and know how to measure the time. 

How to Play Estimate Elapsed Time Game

 Three options will meet your way once the game loads. How to play will help you understand the game and more games will help you find relevant math resources. If you are ready to play, you can click on play. When you start playing, a question will pop on the screen to find the time elapses which is quite easy. If the question indicates the time “12:20 pm to 7:30 pm” and both the periods are in am or pm, then you will find the difference. From 12 to 7 we have five hours and from 20 to 30 we have 10 minutes. This will give us the time elapse of 5 hours and 10 minutes. Sounds easy, right? If you get a question that says “2:00 am to 1:00 pm” and the time is in different units. 

Now if you see, 2:00 to 2:00 is a difference of 12 hours but here we have to find from 2:00 to 1:00 so we will subtract 1 from 12 and get time to elapse which is 11. You will choose the balloon carrying your answers as some might be wrong a swell. The number of correct answers will be counted as a score on the top and even one incorrect answer can end the game and make you lose all your points. You can go back to the menu by clicking on the menu icon on the top right, allow and disable music by clicking on the music icon button next to the menu one.
